Physical therapy is often prescribed after surgery. At Springfield Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center the goal of therapy is to improve the patient\u2019s function and strength so that they are able to return home to a level of independence.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Occupational Therapy<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>The purpose of occupational therapy is to assist the patient in improving or the ability to perform daily activities.
